Burn permit applications are required to burn in the City of Garibaldi, this includes burning in burn barrels. Visit Garibaldi City Hall to apply for one. Please note that burn permits may be restricted, or not given out, during Fire Season.  The burn permit must be filled out in full and returned to the Fire Department or City Hall.  We will keep the original and you will be given a date-stamped copy for your records.

If you are located outside the City Limits, but within the Garibaldi Rural Fire District you may need to call the local Dept. of Forestry at 503-842-2545 or 503-842-2548 after hours.
